The Lake Branch of the American Public Works Association Chicago Metro Chapter has partnered with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, Lake County Department of Transportation, Lake County Fair Association, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and several municipalities to host a county-wide food drive. The food drive will be held from June 1st through July 24th when it will culminate in a public event at the Lake County Fairgrounds (1060 E. Peterson Rd., Grayslake IL.) from 9am-12pm, featuring a Touch-a-Truck for kids of all ages!

The Kane County Cougars are feeding hungry neighbors by supporting Northern Illinois Food Bank through their 50/50 Raffle through the months of July and August. Half of the proceeds of each raffle ticket bought at each home game will go to the Food Bank!

On Friday July 20th, the Joliet Slammers will be collecting food donations to feed hungry neighbors. Come out and watch the Slammers take on Florence Freedom and bring a donation to support Northern Illinois Food Bank!
