Cause Marketing Promotions

 

Hormel Natural Choice

From July 1 – September 30, Hormel Natural Choice will be supporting the Food Bank in honor of their sales at Jewel-Osco stores. Their donation will help provide $160,000 worth of groceries for our neighbors in need, getting nutritious food to families across Northern Illinois. Visit your nearest Jewel-Osco to shop a variety of Hormel Natural Choice products. 

Walgreens

Walgreens

From September 1 – November 30, customers enrolled in the myWalgreens rewards program can choose to donate the value of their rewards point to benefit local nonprofits, including Northern Illinois Food Bank at select stores. Customers can join myWalgreens to start earning rewards when they shop at Walgreens locations.

Schnucks

Starting May 1, customers can choose to donate their Schnucks Rewards Points to nonprofit organizations in their local community, including Northern Illinois Food Bank at select stores. Customers can use the Schnucks Rewards app or on the Schnucks website to participate, and the donated points will translate into a monetary donation for the local nonprofit. Find your local Schnucks store to shop and earn Schnucks Rewards Points to participate!

 

Concord Marketing Solutions

For 2021, Concord Marketing Solutions is proud to partner with Northern Illinois Food Bank for its new corporate giving program. They will be making a donation to the Food Bank for each order placed through their e-Commerce platform to help provide groceries to neighbors in need. So far, they’ve raised over $25,000 worth of groceries to solve hunger in Northern Illinois! Visit their website for more information about their available services. 

 

The Birdhouse Lady

Located in Geneva, The Birdhouse Lady sells hand-crafted birdhouses & feeders that create a beautiful focal point for any yard! As a part of their commitment to the community, they will be donating a portion of all proceeds to local nonprofit organizations, including Northern Illinois Food Bank. Marché

Located in Glen Ellyn, Marché is a specialty cheese, wine, & meat shop that offers delights including charcuterie boards, a monthly cheese club, fresh-served sandwiches, and more! To support the mission of solving hunger, Marché is donating $10 for each Victory Cheese Box sold. Customers can purchase this local cheese specialty box by shopping online or in-store.

 

TikTok

Starting June 1, TikTok will be launching a new in-app simulation game called The Garden of Good, where gamers can grow a virtual garden and give back to the Feeding America network. For each pound of virtual harvest donated by TikTok gardeners, TikTok will donate one meal to Feeding America and its member food banks.

 

Pederson’s Natural Farms

Pederson’s Natural Farms is proud to partner with Feeding America to support local food banks, and has committed to providing at least 1.5 million meals from April 2021 through April 2022. The company will be making a donation for each Rally Room Subscription Membership charge, and will also be collecting online donations to support the campaign. Mighty Spark logo

Mighty Spark Food

Mighty Spark is committed to feeding neighbors in need and has partnered with the Feeding America network of food banks to give back to local communities. For every purchase of Mighty Spark’s all-natural poultry and chicken snack sticks, the company donates the equivalent of one meal to a local food bank. You can find Mighty Spark products in-store at retailers such as Meijer, Walmart, Jewel-Osco, & Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. 

 

Crocs

From 2021, Crocs customers can choose to donate at checkout (in-store and online) to solve hunger! Proceeds will benefit Feeding America and local food banks, including Northern Illinois Food Bank.

 

AAA

Through the Join2Give program, anyone joining AAA as a new Primary member can sign up using code FUNDNIF or mentioning Northern Illinois Food Bank and AAA will make a one-time $20 donation to further the Food Bank’s mission. To join and select the Food Bank as a recipient, contact Angel Birr from the St. Charles office at 630-587-7700 ext. 201.

 

That’s Caring

Buy the perfect hostess gift, holiday gift, or corporate gift basket from That’s Caring. For every basket purchased, That’s Caring donates funds to Northern Illinois Food Bank’s Backpack Program, which provides meals to kids over the weekend, when they aren’t able to rely on school lunches. Charity Miles

Download the Charity Miles app in iTunes or the Play Store, and get started. Meat Raffle Event

On Saturday, October 2, join the Odd Fellows Sycamore Lodge #105 for a meat raffle to benefit Northern Illinois Food Bank. The event will be hosted from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at The Dam Bar & Grill (65 River Ln, Geneva, IL 60134), and will also have $5 Truly Seltzers on special.

 

Join the Food Bank’s Marathon Team!

Northern Illinois Food Bank’s Marathon team provides you with an experience that expands beyond crossing the Bank of America Chicago Marathon finish line on October 10, 2021. You will be part of a network of individuals who believe everyone should have access to nutritious food and will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our hungry neighbors. Long Grove Turkey Trot

The Long Grove Turkey Trot, hosted by All Community Events, will take place on November 25, 2021 (Thanksgiving Day). They’ve selected Northern Illinois Food Bank as their charity partner beneficiary for the event. The Food Bank is recruiting event day volunteers to assist at the event, and then All Community Events will make a donation to the Food Bank in honor of the volunteers’ help.
