We work with over 900 food pantries, mobile food truck markets, and soup kitchens who distribute perishable and non perishable foods that you can choose from based on your dietary needs.

Our Child Nutrition Programs, including the federal meal programs CACFP and SFSP, provide nutritious meals to kids after school and during the summer, and our BackPack Program gives food-filled backpacks for weekend meals.

Upcoming Event: Hunger Scramble

Monday, August 19, 2024 | Naperville, IL

Join us for the 26th Annual Hunger Scramble Golf Outing, presented by Old Second National Bank, on August 19th at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville.  This fun shotgun, scramble-style golf outing has on-course tastings, giveaways, and scenic views. Golf begins at 9:00 AM and will end at the 19th Green reception for a delicious meal provided by award-winning Hell’s BBQ, an open bar, silent auction and raffle prizes.

“Five years ago, my husband was in a car accident. We went from an income to absolutely no paycheck practically overnight. It was devastating. We didn’t know where our next meal was coming from.”

 

While Evetta worked, her single income was not enough. She began visiting one of Northern Illinois Food Bank’s partners, Wesley’s Table Food Pantry. There, she was able to pick up fresh, nutritious groceries to feed her family, and join a community that felt like family.
