While we love the spirit behind traditional food drives, the most effective way to support Northern Illinois Food Bank is through a Virtual Food Drive.
Also known as an online fundraiser, these initiatives are able to take advantage of the Food Bank’s purchasing partnerships to magnify your impact.
For every $10 you raise, the Food Bank can provide $80 worth of groceries! Now that’s making a difference.
Want to Collect Food Instead?
We truly appreciate your generosity! However, traditional food drives can be challenging for the Food Bank to manage and transport.
If you’d like to collect food items, the best place to share your donations is with a local food pantry. That way, your items go directly to neighbors in your community who need them most.
