Involvement in Northern Illinois Food Bank’s signature events and sponsorship opportunities provides exposure to your business and shows your support of the mission of providing every meal, everyday for every hungry neighbor. Northern Illinois Food Bank’s network of more than 900 food pantries and feeding programs across our 13 counties provide food assistance to more than half a million neighbors each year. Don’t miss this opportunity to increase exposure for your business in front of the Food Bank’s volunteers and visitors, event guests, and online.
Community members in Northern Illinois hold about 400 food and fund drives for the Food Bank annually, resulting in an average of 112,500 meals donated and enough monetary donations to provide $688,000 worth of groceries to our community. We have a dedicated website where food drive hosts can create a team and collect funds through a virtual shopping experience. Visit our Online Fundraiser & Food Drive page to see for yourself.
Sponsorship opportunities are available of our Food and Fund Drive website for a month, six months or one year. As a sponsor your gift will be used as a matching gift towards funds raised during that time period. You will receive recognition on the website and in communication to all food and fund drive participants. Another opportunity is to sponsor a fundraising badge which appears on individual food drive pages as a participant hits fundraising goals.
Your logo and name on our campaign website, recognition via social media posts to 10K+ social media followers, recognition in food drive acknowledgement letters, food drive email autoresponders and fundraising coaching emails. Badge Level Sponsors will have their logo appear as an achievement badge on individual fundraising pages as they hit fundraising goals.
Sponsorship Levels range from $2,000 – $20,000

You can help Northern Illinois Food Bank meet our aggressive meal goal through a matching gift campaign. A matching gift campaign will leverage your gift and accelerate our donations – up to 40%, especially from individuals. By offering to match donations received during our key campaign times you will enable the Food Bank to raise more contributions and ultimately feed more hungry neighbors.
We hope to offer matching gifts at three times throughout the year and each campaign offers varying levels of recognition.
Our summertime campaign focus is on childhood hunger and providing meals to kids to who rely on school meals during the rest of the year.
#GivingTuesday is a global campaign to encourage giving back online after the biggest holiday shopping days of the year.
Our year-end campaign focuses on feeding neighbors for the holidays and is our most critical time for donations.
Sponsorship Levels range from $25,000 – $250,000
