Thanks to the help of volunteers, Northern Illinois Food Bank serves more than half a million hungry neighbors each year across 13 counties. Explore the links below to find out how you can make a difference.
Northern Illinois Food Bank uses volunteers to help sort and pack food, provide administrative support, plan special events and speak to community groups. Whether you are looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity for a group or an ongoing opportunity for yourself, we can put your talents to use.
In addition to traditional volunteering, there are more ways to get involved in feeding our hungry neighbors. We have special options for children and an Executive Women’s Council focused on raising funds and awareness for the Food Bank.
