Northern Illinois Food Bank relies on the support of corporations, foundations and community organizations, in addition to individuals, to support our goals of solving hunger in our community. From grant donations and event sponsorship to matching gifts and third-party fundraisers, there are many ways to get involved. Our staff can help you tailor your donation to best meet your organization’s goals. Please contact Christine Fisher at 630-443-6910 ext. 221 to get started.

Other Corporate and Employee Giving

  • Grant Opportunities – Many of our vital feeding programs – including our BackPack, Senior Box and Mobile Pantry Programs – are completely funded by private donations and grants from local companies and community organizations.

  • Matching Gifts – If your company has a matching gift program please be sure to inform your employees of the process and requirements for requesting a company match. Companies can match financial donations or volunteer hours from their employees.

  • Employee Giving – Another convenient way for your employees and company to support the Food Bank is through payroll deductions.

COVID-19 Response Supporters

We are grateful to everyone who gives in support of Northern Illinois Food Bank’s mission. We’d like to recognize the following corporate and foundation donors who made gifts of more than $7,500 to aid our COVID-19 response between March and May 2020. Many thanks also to all the generous donors who contributed to and the community organizations that are managing various COVID-19 Response Funds. We are all in this together!
