Foodie 5K presented by Meijer

The Foodie 5K would not be possible without the help of our volunteers! Foodie 5K volunteers will be directing traffic, working registration, distributing water to participants, guiding and cheering on participants on the course, and much more!

What is it?

An annual fun run/walk featuring gourmet food trucks, entertainment, and a kid’s zone.

When is it?

May 13 at Independence Grove in Libertyville
September 9 at Lewis University in Romeoville

Who can volunteer?

Groups and individuals ages 8+ welcomed!

Volunteer Opportunities

Some of the responsibilities include: Course marshals, water station aides, mile marker attendants, packet pick-up distribution, + much more.

A Taste That Matters presented by Jewel-Osco

What is it?

An evening filled with entertainment, an extensive silent auction, open bar, and mouthwatering tastings.

When is it?

May 18 at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace

Hunger Scramble Golf Outing presented by West Suburban Bank

What is it?

A game of golf at the Cantigny Golf Club to help Northern Illinois Food Bank feed hungry neighbors throughout 13 counties.

When is it?

August 22 at Cantigny Park Golf Club in Wheaton

Pre-event opportunities include: Collect raffle and auction items

Day of event opportunities include: Set-up (raffle & auction, registration, breakfast, etc); Golfer check-in; Serve lunch on the course; Golfer concierge; Assist hole sponsors; Photography, and more!

Stars and Cars presented by Walmart

What is it?

A night of entertainment, an extensive silent/live auction, open bar, and mouthwatering tastings, and mingling with local celebrities and athletes among luxury vehicles

When is it?

October 11 at Steve Foley Motors of Northbrook – Cadillac, Rolls-Royce, Bentley

Full on Faith Volunteer Week

What is it?

A week-long initiative dedicated to providing local mission opportunities for faith-based organizations to put their faith into action.
