Become A Partner Agency

Thank you for your interest in establishing a food program with Northern Illinois Food Bank.  The mission of the Northern Illinois Food Bank is to provide nutritious food to all those in need through our own efforts and those of our more than 600 partner agencies in the following 13 counties - Boone, DuPage, DeKalb, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Ogle, Stephenson, Will and Winnebago.

As a member of Feeding America, the nation's largest non-governmental, domestic hunger relief organization, Northern Illinois Food Bank works with food banks throughout the country to provide food to people in need, and to uphold the highest standards of charitable food distribution. NIFB and our member food assistance programs follow the guidelines established by the national network and are subject to regular compliance monitoring. Northern Illinois Food Bank operates on a membership basis; however, there is no membership fee to become part of the agency network.

If you are not currently operating a food assistance program and want to help, consider volunteering at an agency to determine the best way to fight hunger in your community. Click here to locate the existing NIFB network of pantries and soup kitchens.

If your food distribution program has been in operation for at least six months, refer to Membership Eligibility for more information.
