Circle of Hope

The Circle of Hope is Northern Illinois Food Bank’s special group of dedicated families and individuals who are deeply committed to feeding our hungry neighbors by providing financial support totaling $1,000 or more annually. Through your partnership, NIFB is able to reach more than 60,000 people each week – providing food for our community’s residents who are struggling to meet their most basic needs.

Circle of Hope membership is renewable on an annual basis (Fiscal Year July 1 - June 30). In recognition of the generosity and dedication of Circle of Hope members, we offer five levels of giving with a range of appreciation:

Planter $1,000 - $2,499
• Invitations to social and fundraising events sponsored by NIFB
• Recognition in annual report and annual fund donor wall
• Subscription to HungerBytes, the Food Bank’s bi-monthly e-Newsletter
• Invitation to Friends and Family Volunteer Days and Doors Wide Open events

Grower $2,500 - $4,999
• All benefits of Planter level plus:
• Visit a network food program site (i.e. food pantry , soup kitchen or Mobile Pantry)

Gatherer $5,000 - $9,999
• All benefits of Grower level plus:
• Invitation to exclusive Gatherer’s Brunch with NIFB’s President & CEO

Harvester $10,000 – $24,999
• All benefits of Gatherer  level plus:
• Premier recognition in annual report and annual fund donor board
• Individual luncheon with NIFB’s President & CEO, Pete Schaefer

Nourisher $25,000+
• All benefits of Harvester level plus:
• Two complimentary tickets to the annual Food Bank gala event, along with an invitation to sit at one of NIFB’s President & CEO, Pete Schaefer’s tables
• Invitations to NIFB and Feeding America collaborative events and conferences
